Value Multipliers explained

The June 11, 2026 Tuning Shop update introduced Value Multipliers to the restoration formula. Engine, suspension, and nitrous upgrades each apply a flat percentage to the underlying asset value. The order of installation matters: forced induction first, suspension second, aesthetic premium last.

Forced induction priority

Turbos and superchargers are the highest-ROI Tuning Shop upgrade. They directly increase the base speed and handling metrics of the vehicle, making tuned cars viable in the multiplayer racing modules. A fully tuned Epic vehicle with Mythical Turbocharger is worth 3-4x the same vehicle at baseline condition.

Synergy bonus stacking

Vehicles with exclusively Epic, Legendary, or Mythical parts across engine, nitro, and suspension slots fetch a synergy premium in the auction meta. The Trade Value Calculator accounts for this 30% synergy bonus. Mid-game players should prioritize completing one full part set on a single vehicle rather than spreading parts across multiple chassis.

Aesthetic premium as a resource sink

Paint, decals, and body kits apply a flat percentage to the final auction value. The Paint Bay is a resource sink for late-game capital that would otherwise sit idle. Apply the aesthetic premium after the performance upgrades, since players consistently undervalue cosmetic premiums when calculating break-even horizons.
